Coexlam is a VBA Excel application that performs composite laminate analysis. Laminate theory is used with several strength criteria: maximal stress, maximal strain, Tsaï-Hill and Tasï-Wu. A help including a Getting Started part is now available in the application. The users can add their own formulas or application, an example is provided with a tank under pressure. Several load cases can be calculated in one time in the Print sheet. Laminates can be saved in the Library sheet. Excelsi-R is an Excel add-in that allows Excel spreadsheets to harness the power of the R statistical language by connecting to a running R process. R does not need to be installed on the computer running Excel, but it does require access to an R instance running Rserve (which can be on a remote computer). It supports incorporating R plots and graphs in an Excel workbook.

F2what is an open source project to translate algorithmic fortran to a variety of languages (java, dotnet and VBA so far). It offers a Fortran77 parser with code transformations, variable disambiguation, and modular output to other programming languages. It also offers already translated versions of Lapack and quadprog to Java, .Net and VBA, to give access to SVD, LU, QR, Cholesky, eigenvalue decomposition, linear system solving and QP optimization in those three languages.

WordMat is an add-on to Microsoft Word which creates a tab with math functionality. Part of the Math functionality is provided by other open-source applications like Maxima, GeoGebra, Graph and GnuPlot.
